    The attack of Pearl Harbor was a surprise attack conducted by the Japenese during World War 2. The place was attacked by a total of 353 Japenese fighters, bombers, and torpedo planes in just two waves. 2,402 Americans were killed during the attack. After this event The U.S. declared war on Japan.
  • The battle of Midway

    The battle of Midway
    On June 4th of 1942 nearly six months after the bombing of "Pearl Harbor" one of the most enticing naval battles in World War 2 history took place at the Midway Atoll in the Pacific. Japans main goal was to eliminate the United States strategic power in the Pacific. The battle lasted for three days and 500 U.s. Soldiers died in this battle but the good thing is that the U.s. Won the battle of Midway.

    On June 6th of 1944 alson known as D-Day was the beginning of the Invasion of Normandy. Over 4,900 U.S. Soldiers died on this day. This was the operation also known as operation OVERLORD. This was when Germany tried to take over Poland during World War 2.

    On April 30th,1945 Adolf Hitler (leader of the Holocaust) comitted suicide. Berlin began to run out of troops and ammunition so Adolf Hitler and his newly wed Eva hid in his underground bunker located under the Reich Chancellery building which was bomb proof and had an air recycling plant. While the Red Army marched in with seemingly unlimited mechanised armour. Then Eva and Adolf Hitler had shot themselves and wernt discovered dead until three days later.

    The bombing of Hiroshima
    On August 6th of 1945 Hiroshima,Japan was bombed by americans to end the war between only Japan and the U.S. during World War 2. Up to 166,000 people died in Hiroshima due to the bomb and the exposure to radiation. The bomb was also called the "little boy." This is how the U.S. ended the war between the two countries.
