    A military tactic used for war. It caused confusion among the enmies. This helped lots of armies win a war. They sent many bmbs at once caused distraction.

    Japan Invades China

    Japan invaded China for resources. Japan destroyed chinese army because they were more organized and better army. It was a very brutal war.
  • Munich Conference

    The conference was when Germany signed a contract annexxing Czechoslovakia along the borders.
  • Non-Agression Pact

    it was a treay for non agession between soviet union and germany. This means they were not going to have any military action between them. There were also secret partsd to it on how they were planning on dividing Europer after the war.

    Germany invades Poland

    Hitler used land and air strikes to capture Poland. He used blitzkreig. He worked his was by lots of bombings and then sent in a mass number of troops. He then set up a security around Poland.

    Battle of Britain

    British and German airforces had a battle in the sky. One of the largest bombings to this day. Britain defeated Germany saving a ground invasion from happening.

    The Holocaust

    The holocausst was a time when lots of Europena jews and other griuos such as gypsies and homosexuals were killed. Over 6 million people were killed. The people who survived were put into concentration camps and were left to die.
  • Lend Lease Act

    It was an act that said US could give weapons and aid to other countries. The president would say yes becaue it was to countires that really hleped protect US. We helped and aided lots of countries.

    Operation Barbarossa

    Hitler marches his troops in a massive invasion on the Soviet Union. 3 million men, 150 divisions, and 3000 tanks. Germany even with this massive army lost. They were not prepared for the other army.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor was a surpuise attack on the us in Hawaii. Lots of planes came out of no where and bobmbed the ships and killed lots of people. This made US want to join ww2 and we did.
  • Bataan Death March

    US sureendered to Japan. They had to make a march to the military camps. A lot died because of the heat and the distance of the walk.

    Battle of Midway

    After Pearl Harbor US defeated Japan in one of the biggest Naval battles. Code breaking helped US win and kept Japan from planning a surprise attack.

    Battle Of Stalingrad

    Germany tried capturing the city of Stalingrad. THe soviet union defended it and Germany lost. It was considered one of the best battles of ww2.
  • D- Day

    d-day was an invasion on a beach. The us invaded the beach called omaha. There was a huge seawall we needed to get up to kill the people in bunkers. The fight was brutal and lots of US died.

    Battle Of the Buldge

    German soilders led this battle in Belgium, France, and Luxemburg on the Western front toward the end of world war II. This was an unexpected attack that got the aliied forces off guard. This battle had the highest casualites for the United States.

    Battle of Iwo Jlma

    The battle was on the island and there was 23,000 japanese troops fighting. They faught in tunnels, dugouts, and caves. US ended up winnin g after a month of fighting.

    Battle Of Okinawa

    Last of the pacific balltes, it was US vs Japan. This was a huge sea battle and Japan had lost the battle.

    US celebrates vicotry of Europe. Germany finally laid down there arms and we had won. Germany put there flags up surrendering.
  • The Bombing of Hiroshima/ Nagasaki

    2 different dasy 2 different nukes were dopped. The first time killing 80,000 plus people. The second killing 40,000, after this Japan then surrenedered to the US.
  • V-J Day

    Japan surrenedered to the Allies. This ended ww2. This was a few months after Germany surrendered. It is now called v-j day.

    Warsaw Pact

    This was a treaty signed in Warsaw, it included the Soviet union, Albania, Poland, Romania, Hungary, and east Germany. It stated that they would help eachother if either of them got attacked.
