After the Germans have lost WW1. Hitler is going to help the Germans win WW2. But the Allies were against Hitler in the war. Then after the Germans were just about to lose WW2, Hitler killed himself, Then the Allied forces defeated Germany and Japan and Italy. -
WW2 was a bad war to start with. German armies destroyed many countries, but then the Allies stopped the war and Germany lost WW2 like they lost WW1.

There were many types of technology in WW2. Two types of technology is the radar and the atomic bomb they both were used
a lot.The radar was used to send messages and to find enemy fighter planes. But the Atomic bomb was used to Destroy cities and town. -
The battle of Dunkirk was a major battle in WW2, after German troops attacked France, British and French troops tried to stop German troops but Germany controlled almost all of France. Then French and British troops went back to Great Britain. Then Germany now controlled France. -
D-Day was when the American and British troops attacked France and other countries that the Nazis had taken over. The troops also attacked west Germany. -
The Atomic bomb was used in WW2 a lot of times. It was first used by the Americans when they attacked Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. The Germans also used the bomb but failed to use it. -
On February 23, 1945 five marines and a Navy Hospital corpsman raise the American flag in Iwo Jima. After they raised the flag they were killed. They now have a statue of them raising the flag in Hawaii. -
After Roosevelt died Truman became the new President for America then Truman said to drop the Atomic bomb on Japan after he was President.

V-E Day stands for victory over Europe is when the Nazis lost all the countries they had controlled over sense Hitler was their leader. But after the American and British troops came in on D-Day and took the countries back. People all over Europe celebrated because the Nazis were defeated also when Hitler killed himself. -
V-J day stands for victory over Japan is when the Japanese surrendered to the American troops after two Atomic Bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki many Japanese people died because of the Atomic bomb.
