Germany blockaded America’s ships to control the Atlantic. Then America sent naval ships to block Germany’s trade routes. That upset the German army for a long time. The Germans used two main tactics to keep America away from them. One was submarines. The was they used submarines was they were sent underwater and had tracters on them so they could pinpoint Americas ships. The other tactic was by airplanes. This was wasnt as deadly but had a big impact on Americas carriers. -
