To capture their primary supply to make a settlement. And then the Soviet Union agreed to surrender in Italy on 29 April. The German instrument of surrender was signed on 7 May in Reims, and ratified on 8 May in Berlin. German Army Group Centre resisted in Prague until 11 May.
