SInce Japan did not have any natural resources. So wanted to takeover China.. The first place in China that they invaded was Manchurria which had a lot of minerals that included iron, coal, oil, and gold. They would help in the war.

Italy invaded Ethiopia partly because they wanted revenge for having lost the Battle of Adowa. Also because they needed the oil to fuel Hitler's amy.

Hitler wanted to invade Poland on two fronts. But he couldn't do it because the Soviet Union was on the other side. So he met with Stalin and they signed a non-aggression pact. The pact said that if the Soviets helped them take over Poland they would get half of it. But hitler was planing to take out the Soviets in the future.

The Germns needed to take control of the English Channel to invade Britain. They needed to take control of the English Channel so that the English Navy would not attack the German ships. To do that they needed to control the air to bomb the boats using the Air Force. But the Britttish won anyways.

The U.S. told the Japanese to surrender peacefully or else they were going to lsuffer the consequences. The japanese did not surrender so the U.S. bomb Hiroshima with the atom bomb.

After the U.S. bombed Hiroshima, they asked Japan if they would surrender and they said no so then they dropped another atomic bomb in Nagasaki. After that, Japan surrendered because they thought we had many more but we only had one left.

After dropping the second and final atomic bomb at Nagasaki, Japan surrendered. They surrendered because they thought that the U.S. had many more atomic bombs and also because it killed many innocent people.
