    Once the Japanese bombed pearl harbor they're expectation was that once the Americans had experianced Japan's power there wouldn't be much conflict afterwards. Their plan backfired and Americans were outraged they were not scared so they united under this battle cry "Remember Pearl Harbor!" They set out to prove japan wrong.
