  • Japanese invasion of Manchuna

    Attempt to gain control over the whole Province in order to eventually take over all of East Asia. Proved to be one of the causes of WWII

  • Hitler made Chancellor of Germany

    He now ruled the country, made the rules, and the people under him did what he said

  • The Anschluss

    Germany was now a union with Austria. This made Germanys military and power so much greater by having an other country with them.

  • Kristallnacht

    Nazis invaded and vandalized Jewish homes and businesses, and arrested many Jews and put them into Concentration Camps.

  • Invasion of Poland

    Germany invaded Poland and this was the starting of World War 2

  • Dunkirk

    Germany gained more land and power by attacking Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg.

  • Pearl Harbor Attack

    American Naval base was attacked by Japanese military, which got America involved in World War 2.

  • Bataan Death March

    Japanese took over the Phillipeans and made American and Filipino prisoners march 63 miles. During this journey about 10,000 had died.

  • Battle of Midway

    America had won the battle and was now inferior to Japan. (Pacific War)

  • D-Day

    The Allies fought there way through France and were now closer to defeating Hitler.

  • Battle of the Bulge

    The last and greatest battle of World War 2.

  • Yalta Conference

    The United Nations was formed and Russia, Great Britian and America joined forces to end the Pacific war.

  • V-E-Day

    The war in Eurpoe was officially over, America had won.

  • The bombing of Hiroshima

    The Atomic Bomb was dropped over Hiroshima(Japanese City) in attempt to end the war.

  • V-J-Day

    Victory over Japan, which had put an end to the war.
