  • German Invasion of Poland

    German Invasion of Poland
    On January, 1934, Germany made a non-agression pact with Poland to avoid the said country and France forming an alliance to annihilate Germany. However, on September 1 of 1939, Germany invaded Poland, defeating them within the week. Thousands of tanks and troops of the Germanic army broke Polish defensives before closing in on Warsaw. After being heavily bombed and relentlesssly attacked for several weeks, Warsaw finally surrendered to Germany on September 27, 1939. This attack triggered WWII.
  • Battle of Britain

    Battle of Britain
    The Battle of Britain raged from July to October of 1940. It was Germany's Luftwaffe vs. the British Air Force. This was the first historically recorded battle that took place in the air. Germany's goal was to gain the access of the air of Southern England. Hitler made the mistake of seeing this an achievable goal. The opposite was proved when he bombarded England endlessly to find that no matter what, they wouldn't surrender. On the 17 of September, Hitler withdrew from the battle.
  • Operation Barbarossa ~ Russia

    Operation Barbarossa ~ Russia
    This was the invasion of the Soviet Union by Hitler and the Nazi party. Stalin and the rest of Russia was caught by surprise by the sudden attack that was planned for an entire year by Germany. Due to their shock, Russia slowly lost land and Germany gained air superiority. However, the Soviet Union somehow managed to regain their feet and fight against the Germans. Surprisingly enough, they won. Due to their victory, the Allies still had a powerful force aiding them in the war.
  • Battle of Moscow, Russia

    Battle of Moscow, Russia
    Germany invaded Russia in the Summer of 1941 and was supposedly prepared to take Moscow from under their feet by October. To the Soviet Union's surprise, Hitler succeeded more than they would've imagined in his attack with the help of his devastating Blitzkrieg. Thousands died as both sides fought mercilessly for their survival. The war raged on, however, Stalin's resolve to not flee saved him and his country, making a turning point in the entirety of WWII.
  • Battle of Stalingrad, Russia

    Battle of Stalingrad, Russia
    Hitler mobilized two squads: one going to Baku to gain the rich oils and the other marching to Stalingrad and the Volga. The Soviet Union was hanging on by a thread at the time, but with the help of their new tactic - fighting retreat - they made the German's exhaust their supplies. When the battle began, Stalin demanded that no one would be evacuated, not even the children as all of the bombs rained down. The Russians fought with furiosity, taking the Germans aback. Thankfully, they won.
  • Battle of Kursk, Russia

    Battle of Kursk, Russia
    The Battle of Kursk was a major tank battle in Russia that caused a huge blow to Nazi war machines. Germany planned on attacking the Russians in July 5th. But when 2 of their subordinates were captured, their plan was compromised as Russia bombed them. On July 15, the Russian's obliverated the Germans, making the Battle of Kursk their last offensive attack on Russia. After the German's retreat, Russia won most of their battles. Before long, Germany had been driven out of most of Russia.
  • D-Day, France

    D-Day, France
    On June 6th, 1944, the Allies who were sent to liberate France were met on the shores of Normandy, France by Germanic toops. Both sides fought ferociously, one wanting to keep their captured land and the other desiring to let their allies free. By nightfall however, the Germans had fallen to the American, Canadian and British ships, saving France from becoming completely dominated.
  • Battle of the Bulge

    Battle of the Bulge
    This battle was the final Nazi offense against the Allies in World War II. It was a last resort attempt to destroy all of our supplies and split our group into 2. At first, their plan went successfully as the Allies were taken by surprise and Hitler had planted unreliable data within the Allies forces causing havoc. However, the Germans eventually ran out of fuel for their planes and supplies for their men. The Allies won with the ending of WWII close behind.
  • Battle of Berlin

    Battle of Berlin
    The Allies made a plan to encircle Berlin with their forces. Germany attempted to fight back but our numbers were too overbearing. Slowly, the Allies enclosed on Germany, defeating all of the defenses set up by Hitler, who eventually committed suicide. Finally, the German's surrendered and we took control of Berlin, ending World War II. Germany was stripped of many liberties as a result of their horrifying outbreak.
  • Hiroshima/Nagasaki ~ Japan

    Hiroshima/Nagasaki ~ Japan
    Americans dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan to end their rebellion. The explosion cleared 90% of the city and killed nearly 80,000 citizens with thousands more following later due to radiation exposure. After three days of the first bombs explosion, America dropped another bomb on Nagasaki killing nearly 40,000 people. Later, Emperor Hirohito announced Japan's surrender on August 15, stating that the bombing was a new form that was devastatingly cruel.
