    Berenice F. Wikoff, Director of Physical Education for Women from 1912-1916. Had a B. Sc. in Domestic Science. She was the Director of Physical Training for Women at Ohio State University in 1912 and a member of the Ohio "Varsity A" Association. Wikoff came form Ohio State along with Bauer as Severance Gymnasium opened, and left at the same time after L.C. Boles arrived as Athletic Director. She developed the gymnasium aides for women at Wooster and was involved with producing an annual exhibiti

    [Sexton had been the chair of the Women's Department of Physical Education for eleven years before the College combined the Men's and Women's departments in 1964 and placed them under new Department Chair Robert Bruce. The women will now have a separate Athletic Department and will have their first Director of Women's Athletics as they begin varsity sport for women in 1965.]

    Ginny Hunt was the first Head Volleyball Coach at Wooster. She also started the field hockey program in 1965. She double coached both sports in the same season for a number of years, and served as the first Women's Athletic Director at Wooster. She is in the W Association Hall of Fame.
