February 6, 1922 was the date of the Washington Conference. This was to cut the size and set a limit for the Japanese navy. In result, it cut the strength of the army and navy so they couldn’t challenge the Chinese troops in Manchuria.

The Kellogg-Briand Pact was signed on August 27, 1928. This Pact helped Japan solve disagreements peacefully. Events that happened shortly after this help show little influence international peace.
