    The Dutch had arrived on December , 14, 1619 on the coast of Jamestown. Lacking food the Dutch had decided to resort to the Americans in Jamestown to give them food. In return the Dutch would give the Americans , indentured servants from Africa. Therefore the amount of African Americans in America was zero.
  • Life in America

    Many families had to do their own work. They had to do their own laundry cook their own food and tend to their farms. Since less European indentured servants were coming to the United States families had to rely on each toher to complete the household chores.
  • Trade Supply

    America had an abundance of cotton, tobacco, and sugar. Since these products were so common in The United States, the price of each item wasn't very expensive. The use of these products resulted to a avast variety of clothing, a large production of cigarrettes and cigars, and the Americans used the sugar to mske caramel. By melting sugar to create caramel the United States advanced in the culinary perusassion. The large proudoction of cigarrettes led to many people smoking causing early deaths.
  • Trade's effect on Economy

    Since the United States had a vast amount of cotton tobacco and sugar they used it for various purposes. These new products helped the economy. With newer deisrable items many European countries wanted to trade with the United States. WIth the new trade of United States' items the economy flourished.

    Women had only on option, which was to take care of their household.They were never seen working outside of the house. Thye had to tend to the chikdren make food do laundry and clean the house. Men usually went out towork in factories or accomplish jobs outside of the house. This meant women didn't have ,any oppurtunities in life.

    Abrhamn Lincoln decided to watch a play during his presidency. He had planned to watch Our American Cousin in Ford's Theater. It was a comedy that he was enjoying with his wife Mary Todd Lincoln, After an evening of laughs the couple safely returned to the White House.

    Abrahamn Lincoln had a asuccesful first term as president, He had managed to keep the unions together, and the North and South had no differneces. The economy was increaing due to the trades with Europe, The taxes were regulated therefore leading to no differences between the wealthy and the poor.

    Ulysses S. Grant had won the election ato become the next president after Abrahamn Lincoln. He had become our seventeeth president. Under his presidency his vice president would be Henry Wilson

    Lincoln had served two terms ias a president for the United States. A day after his presidency Lincoln had died of a heart attack. Our 16th president had died at the age of 60 after two terms of being president of the United States.
