    Coca Cola was founded on 29 January 1892, 127 years ago. The founders were John Stith Pemberton as Coca- Cola & Asa Griggs Candler found The Coca-Cola Company. On 16 Oct 2019 in an article by Business Insider coca cola shared its newest research to recycle the marine plastic. In its research Coca Cola introduced the world’s first bottle made from marine’s waste plastic. This project involved 84 beach volunteers to clean the beach in Spain, Portugal and 12 ports across the Mediterranean Sea.

    This project uses Reverse Osmosis framework to reuse just about 75 percent of the treated wastewater, the reject water from RO is sent to dissipate the wastewater which makes the plant Zero Liquid Discharge. Evaporation ponds, stabilization plant and chemical treatment plant is utilized for treating hazardous waste.

The new Lyttleton Harbour pipeline can improve the waste water treatment and improve the water treatment in Diamond Harbour and Governor’s Bay as well. The two-stage water treatment plant will transport the water waste from Governor’s Bay and Diamond Harbour to Lyttleton.
