    A canteen and recreation centre, called H.10, opened at 59a Belvedere Road, Lambeth (i.e the Embankment). It consisted of two rooms accommodating eight men.
  • More bed spaces

    Canteen at No 59a, Embankment, moved to Aird's Wharf providing 20 more bed spaces at No 59a.
  • Aird's Wharf

    Lease of Aird's Wharf as a night shelter. There were places for 20 peole sleeping on canvas and 240 on the floor.
  • 53,000 meals provided for destitute veterans

    During the Winter of 1934-35, the Ex-Services Fellowship, later to become Veterans Aid, provided 23, 091 nights of shelter and 53,382 meals for destitute former Service men.
