This is the first of a two day event, resulting in close scores between the first three places. Russia, is in the lead, after land a quad jump, followed by the USA, and China.

Final Recap After the second of competition, Evan Lysacek of the United States pulled out a win against Russia's Yevgeny Plushenko, who was previously in first place.

Day One Standings This was the first day of a three day skating event. Couples in this event must dance on ice to the same dance with different spins on it. This year's theme was the tango.

Final Medal Results This event wrapped up when the pairs could skate whatever dance to whatever music. Canada won gold followed by the USA, and Russia.

Day One ResultsThis was the first day of a the two day figure skating event. The highlight of this event was when Canadian figure skater, Joannie Rochette, competed, two days after her mother passed away. She is curretnly in 3rd place.

Final Results The last of the figure skating finished with this event. Korea, China, and Canada topped the podium. The USA was just out of medaling status with 4th place.

Final Wrap-up The 2010 Olympics in Vancoucer, Canada concluded today with the gold medal hockey game between Canada and the USA. Canada emerged the victor. The closing ceremony then occured where the Olympics torch was passed on to its next holder, Sochi. In the end, the USA won in total medal counts with 37 medals.
