    The group on the Mayflower on their journey to the (new world) was around 40 people. They were seeking religous freedom and looking for a new life. They settled in the (new world) and the pilgrims carried on with their lives.

    This war started because the USA wanted to revolt against British taxes and trade regulations. The American Revolution was the first modern revolution and it marked the first time that people fought for their indpendence in the name of certain universal principles such as rule of law, constitutional rights, and poular sovereignty.

    The Declaration of Independence is defined as the formal statement written by Thomas Jefferson declaring the freedom of thirteen American colonies from Great Britain. Also known as the fundamental document establishing the United States as a nation.

    This was the purchase by the United States from France of the huge Louisiana Territory in 1803. President Thomas Jefferson was in charge of this whole operation and ordered the purchase negotiations.

    The Industrial Revolution is known as the rapid development of industry that occurred in Britain in the late 18th and 19th centuries. It was characetrized by growth of factroies, food, and steam powered objects.

    This war was fought from 1861 to 1865. It was a war between citizens of the same country to see who was the survivor between the Union or independence for the Confederacy.

    The Titanic was a gigantic ship carrying a lot of passengers on it. It had hit an iceberg and had sunk. The captain of the Titanic had said that they didnt need many lifejackets on the ship because he basically said that the ship could just simply not sink. Many people had died from drowning and the very cold water. There were some survivors but not many.

    The Great Depression is known as the economic crisis and period of low business activity in the U.S. It began with the stock market crash in 1929 and lasted still in the 1930's.

    The Dust Bowl is a region in the Southen central United States that suffered from great dust storms in 1935. Many people died and got injured.

    This war lasted from 1939 to 1945. As you can imagine this was long and cruel war. So many people died from this war it is just sad to think about.

    Now, this war lasted really long. Lasting from 1947 to 1991 you can already imagine many families were hurt from all the losses that had occured in this war. It was a battle from political and military tensions.

    Former president of the United States John F. Kennedy was assassinated while riding in a car down a street. A man ws on top of a building so he could get a shot in on JFK. His wife was in the car with him so you can imagine how scary it was for her.

    9/11 was a terroist attack from the Alkata terroist group. This was a very sickening event that happened in U.S. history. Alkata had pilots hijack planes and had them fly straight into the twin towers. Many people died from this and many people were hurt from this experience mentally and physcially.

    Osama Bin Laden also known as the person in charge of 9/11 was a horrible man. President Barack Obama had sent Seal Team Six after him and they killed him. He was a very dangerous person so we had to take him out before he did anything else.
