    The first battle of the American Revoultion. The battle marked the outbreak of the war between the kingdom of Great Britain and the Thirteen colonies. Often refered to the, 'shot heard around the world.'

    A responce to Abraham Lincoln being elected president. Eleven southern slave states declared their sucession from the United States and formed the Confederate States of America. The other twenty-five states supported the govenrment and formed the Union
