  • Praclimation of 1763

    This proclaimation did not allow colonists to settle wast of the Appalachin Moutains. the birthish governemnt feared the conflict between colonis and Native AMercianas would lead to another wear, they also could not afford to pay British troops to defend the western lansds. colonists were enraged by this proclamintaion because they felt they had won the right to settle in the Ohio River Valley after winning the French and Indaian war.

  • Quartering Act 1765

    The Quartering Act was passed in 1765 by Parliment. This act stated that all requried colonies to house and supply British soliders.
  • Stamp Act 1767

    In 1767, Parliment passed the Stamp Act saying that all legal commercaial documents to carry an offical stamp showing tax has been paid.
  • Townshend Acts 1767

    Townshend Acts were passed by Parliment in 1767. This made New York's assembly and established taxes on goods brought into the British colonies
  • Tea Act and Boston Tea Party 1773

    In 1773, disgused angery men dumped 342 chests of tea in the Boston Harbor to protest the Tea Act. The Sons of Liberty organized the protest known as the Boston Tea Party.
