    Magna Carta
    a charter of rights, signed by King John of England, it promised the protection of church rights, protection for the barons, for illegal imprisonment and limitations of king's taxes. There was several conflicts that happened because of Magna Carta during the 1600s-1780s do to the charter of rights being flawed. In it's original version Magna Carta lasted 3 months before King John violated it's term. The importance of Magna Carta was not accepted until several centuries later.
