    Fourteen families tried to enroll their b lack children into white schools (schools for black childern only) and were told they were not allowed only because of their race. These parents filed to sue the Topeka Board or Education because of racisim. White schools were taken better care of than any black school ever was, white schools had new textbooks, they had plenty school supplies.     In 1957, a group of blacks enrolled into Little Rock Nine. No blacks were allowed there because it was still racialy segregated. The first day of school other students would not allow them to come into the school building. The NAACP kept trying to enroll black students into "all-white" schools all over the south. The Sibley coommission was created to learn the issues of school integration.     John F. Kennedy was our thirty-fifth president of the United States. He was assassinated on November 22, 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald was killed before he could ever stand trial.     In 1963, an African-American church was bombed killing four young girls. Many people didnt agree with integration. People thought this church should be bombed because the three students that were arrested during the 1963 Birmingham campaign's Children's Crusade were trained there.     In 1968, a man assassinated MLK Jr. because he was unhappy with how blacks were being treater more equaly due to MLKs "I Have A Dream" speech. The man that assassinated, James Earl Ray, was sentenced to 99 years in prision. He died in prison 29 years later at the age of 70.
