    Ronald Regan is sworn into office in 1981 as the 40th president of the United States. He was known as being a conservative along with his fellow Republicans, as well as changing the size and role of the government in the economy and society.

    With the help of his fellow conservative republicans, Reagan created Reaganomics which advocated for tax cuts to stimulate the economy and the transfer of responsibilities to state government.
    The main goals of his policy were to reduce government spending, reduce income and capital gains marginal tax rates, reduce government regulation, and control the money supply to reduce inflation.

    The worst terrorist attack on America on September 11 2001 was leas by Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in which two planes crashed into The Worlds Trade Center, one into the Pentagon and another in a location is Pennsylvania.
    These actions prompted President Bush to launch the Waron Terror and to invade Afghanistan in 2001, which also led to the Patriot Act of 2001, The Department of Homeland Security and the creation of the Transportation Security Administration.
