In Egypt, being a desert, water and survival is affected so since they were surrounded by the red sea, mediterranean, and then also sitting near the nile river they were dependent on how the water was moving. the Egyptians needed flooding, they needed water, just like you and me

Farming was said to be started or created in 5000 BCE. the Importance of this is huge, in being able to keep civilizations alive and well was a huge help from farming. farming also helped grow economies in all of the kingdoms.

there were believed to be two primary groups of Egyptian religion. the sun gods and the land gods. the sun gods were associated with life giving properties. while the land gods were associated with earth and the natural world.

The Old Kingdoms Rise

this kingdom is known as the age of the pyramids, in this time 2700 BCE- 2200 BCE. it was the start of the foundation set for the Egyptian lives to come. with agriculture farming, the construction of the pyramids. With their leading power of strong Pharaohs, they were seen as gods on earth. the capital of this kingdom was named Memphis. this kingdom was also seen as very organized.

The Importance of the Pyramids

the pyramids were created in the Old kingdom, their Importance is greater than you think. they were made to store tombs for Pharaohs who were thought to become gods in their after life. the pyramids where to help them have safe travels to the afterlife. but the pyramids also represented the incredible work force that was created during this time, with their engineer skills and organization.

The Old Kingdoms Fall

2200 BCE

The Old kingdom was around for 500 years slowly declining, the causes of the Old kingdom falling where drought and not being able to grow food, and economic trouble causing it to crumble.

The rise of the Middle Kingdom

2055 BCE

after what happened to the first attempt at a kingdom. they first started with expanding their land and this time around they focused on the Importance of a strong central government. so they created Thebes, this was their religious capital. this middle Kingdom also had great advances in art, literature, and architecture making some of the most known temples. Pharaohs at this time focused more on improvement of agriculture, which help trade and our economy, making us more wealthy.

Temples being Built

during the Middle Kingdom, many new things were being built one being temples. The temple most known is the Thebes, which was used as a religion center, capital, administering governance. this being built gave the city a spiritual significance. many tombs and more temples were constructed around. reflecting stability in the Middle Kingdom.

Suez canal

this canal was not officially built till 1869 but the idea around it dates back to 1850 BCE. them doing so shaped the way global trade occurs now.

Bronze working

1800 BCE

the bronze working was a significant event for Egypt. as it was used to build weapons and tools, showing the advancement of life. also used to build figurines for the wealthy.

The fall of the Middle Kingdom

1650 BCE

This booming Middle Kingdom fell for a few reasons. Are authority with central power that ended up weakening. Then came the economy, weakened with our central power. Along with outside factors, the Egyptians were invaded on multiple occasions with more advanced technology and the Egyptians could not counter.

The rise of the New Kingdom

1550 BCE

This New Kingdom highlighted the peak of power and glory. During this time a centralized state, a significant military, and lots of buildings were formed. during this time some of the most well known Pharaohs lived. and had their strongest military influence than ever before

The fall of the New Kingdom

1068 BCE

The fall of the New Kingdom took place to more external factors, yes the Kingdom itself struggled with inflation, and farming struggles but external problems made the most impact. The new Kingdom had invasions from outside powers, they were known as the Sea People they attacked egypt and their land causing overall destruction.
