The first color photo underwater was in 1926 by Charles Martin and W.H. Longley of a hogfish off the Gulf of Mexico.

Now underwater cameras are available to the average customer. We use underwater photography today for science and some advertisments.

In 2050 I think we will still use them for science and advertising but some projectors will be holograms.
