  • Decleration of Independence

    Thomas Jefferson was the main writer of the Decleration of Independence. They wrote this document to declare freedom from Great Briten. This document helped us become a country and do what we want to do.

  • U.S. Constitution

    The U.S. Constitution was written in the same Pennsylvania State Housewhere the Decleration of Independence was signed. Some Americans thiught that the constitution lacked certain rights, so they made the 10 amendments for the bill of rights. Thanksgiving day was created by Geaorge Washington as a way of "giving thanks" for the constitution.

  • Indian Removal

    The Indian Removal Act happened because president Andrew Jackson did not want the indians on his land. Jackson had soilders lead the indians to Oklahoma. Living in Oklahoma for the indians was hard because the land was not good for crops or hunting, so the indians had a hard time getting through.

  • California Gold Rush

    In California, James Marshal found a gold nugget and it was not to long that people found out about it. People looked at this as an oppertunitie to hve a better life so people packed everything and left everything behind to look for gold. Many people died on the trip and for some people it was not worth it.

  • March on Washington / "I Have a Dream" Speech

    This event took place infront of the Lincoln Memorial. The event was for human rights on civil and econimic rights for Aferican Americans. This was also the day that Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I Have A Dream" speech.

  • Passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act

    The Civil Rights Act is a landmark piece of civil rights legislation in the United States. It ended unequal applacation. Powers given to enforce the act were initially weak but were supplemented during later years

  • Apollo 11 landing on the moon

    Apollo 11 landed on the moon exactly at 20;18. The three menbers of the mission, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, collected 47.5 pounds of lunar material to return to Earth. A third member of the space mission, Michael Collins, piloted the command spacecraft alone in lunar orbit.

  • My Birthday

    On my birthday i have my family come over to my house. And we eat dinner and cake. Then i open presents.
