    I picked these events because I felt they were very important to not only exploration, but also how things worked out and how it affected lives of people from all over the world. For example, smallpox obviously wiped out many native americans. Things like diseases are also very important in history because things like smallpox and the black death have a huge impact on population. As people were discovering new continents like America and Austrailia, ideas were being spread more and more, and emp
