    When Hitler became the Chancellor of Germany, it began the the Third Reich. Hitler used his power in a way that went against the nature of the Chancellory. He had all the power and he could declare laws against groups he didn't like without the consent of the Reichstag. All the orders he gave had to be obeyed unless they wanted to face harsh consequences involving death.

    The first concentration camps were opened by the Nazis. The first camps were Dachau in Munich, Buchenwald near Weimar in Central Germany, Sachsenhausen in Berlin, and Ravensbruck was open for women. These camps would make the Jewish people do forced labor and many would die from it. This managed to go unnoticed for many years.

    The Jewish shops were boycotted just for that one day. The Jewish people were having their Sabbath Day on a Saturday and the Germans took advantage of it. This marked the downward spiral for the Jews before they were sent away to the concentration camps and exterminated. There is great change in the Jewish society.

They had to give birth to infants infants in ares what would ensure that the infants would die.

    The Nuremberg Laws were that the Jewish people weren't considered German citizens and that Jews could not marry non-Jews. The persecution of Jews was legal. They decided that the Jewish people needed to be segregated from the true Germans. This caused problems and caused more violence.

    The Jewish people were not allowed to compete in these olympic games because he wanted all aryans to win medals. He didn't want Jewish people to beat them. Athough the Jewish people that joined the Olyimpis knew that they would be persecuted against, they still tried and they won medals that the aryans won as well.

    Many Jewish people created fake identification papers in order to get away from going to the concentration camps. They would also get fake visas so they could travel to the United Sates or Canada. They were desparate to get out of Germany and away from what was happening there. They said they were Christians .

    The Night of Broken Glass was when Germans went into the ghettos and burned the town. They burned synoguges, homes, and shops that were valuable to the Jews. Ninety-one Jews were killed during this night and many more were left injured after the atack. Women were raped and attacked by German men. The Germans just left after.

    The Germans took any Jewish person no matter their ability to work hard or not. They would work the Jews to death or make them weak until they could gas them. This was a cruel form of treatment that caused the loss of many inocent people who never did anything to hurt the Germans. They just lived in peace.

    There were many prisoners who were on forced marches in the camps in Germany. The survivors were dying of starvation and had disease. They were barely living, Th soldiers provided food and water as well as clean clothes for the prisoners. The prisoners would refuse to go back home . They were temporarily out of the misery.
