Tractors Today
Tractors now use belts or pulleys to transfer power from the engine to the machines. They provide hydraulic and electrical poweras well. Farm tractors can reach speeds up to twenty five miles per hour, but can go as slow as half a mile per hour. The slow speeds are necessary to give the farmer more control while doing field work.

Future Tractors
There will be driverless tractors in the future, preforming the same tasks just without the supervision of a farmer. The future tractors will run on biogas, which is organic gas used as fuel. Biogas will help with the economy by cutting down on pollution and will help the tractor perform better. Biogas also allows renewable natural resources to be utilized efficiently.
