    North was afraid of many incoming slaves the Southerners were importing and the North wanted o emancipate the slaves already there and the Senate rejected the idea. This lead to the Civil War
  • Manifest Destiny

    Manifest Destiny
    The Manifest Destiny was a Americanepansion to the westward. Both the North and the South couldn't agree if states shoulde be free or slave states, the conflits caused the nation to fall apart and this lead to the Civil War.
  • The Compromise Of 1850

    The Fugitive Slave Act was part of the Compromise of 1850. The slave act required all citizens to be a part of slavery by making them return runaway slaves. North thought it was unfair and made tension between North and South much worse. This lead to the Civil War.
