Invention of the toilet.
In the middle ages the monks used to make toilets over rivers so that no one had to use their hands to pick it up. The toilets would be made out of stone or wood depending on who made it.

12th Century Minor Upgrade
In the 12th century it was basically the same concept as the one from 988 except it was for building and would lead out into the ocean. Down side could only work for building close to the water.

New First Toilet
The first toilet that wasn't just a hole with a pipe it was a system that was invented in 1596 but almost 200 years later it went public. It was invented Sir John Harington who is the godson of Queen Elizabeth I it was 2 feet deep which is where "going to the John is."

First flushable toilet
The first flushable toilet came is 1775 and was the same toilet but with a "s trap" to block disease sewer gas. This was to help with dysentery and other diseases caused by infected water.

Major Upgrade
Flushable values were invented and water tanks were create to help refill the toilet faster and easier. Toilet paper also made in 1857.

The Urinal
Urinal was patented on February 12 1884 it was to help men use the bathroom easier the first version of it was a cone shape with same tanks as the one made in 1775.
