The gargantuan, steel plated Titanic superstructure was approved. Some people presumed the the reason that Titanic could not sustane the damage caused by the iceberg was because the superstructure was not strong enough, so why was it approved?

For anybody who dosen't know, a keel of a ship is it support, like the backbone of the human body. It is also made in sections (For the comparison to the human body, it is a ribcage). It took 3 mounths for the keel to be laid. The keel is very much like the backbone in a human body

The hull of a ship is the superstructure (or the structure) of the ship combined with the keel of the ship. In the Titanic, the hull contained most of the 3rd class room and was over 30m long!
-
16 wooden lifeboats were fitted onboard Titanic. Note here that I said 'wooden'. This was considered a risk, because what if the Titanic caught fire? The passengers coudn't escape. Turned out that should have the least of their worries.
-
The huge job of fitting Titanic's superstructure, keel and hull was completed. (Seems to me they could of done the job a bit better!).
-
I'll ask this question again, why did the Titanic pass her tests, sea trials and the like? Maybe they were focusing on the fact that MAYBE Titanic could not hold the passengers that were boarding her?
-
The stupendous Titanic arrives at Southhampton, its first location. 900 passengers got on the titanic in Southhampton. Remenber, most of the people who got on were looking for a better life in America, not going on holiday. Look at it this way, then the sinking seems like a real waste of man-made and natural resources.

The Titanic picks up his second lot of passengers.
-
The Titanic picks up its final load of passengers and sets off on its Maiden voyage. (Unsupervised! Who was leaving a RHS ship in iceberg infested waters! You tell me!)
-
Calm days for the Titanic. Peaceful, you might say. Not for long. Ha Ha!
-
The Titanic DID NOT notice the signs and so therfore sinks in freezeing cold water.
-
Good on Frederick fleet! Turned out they spotted the signs. BUT they were too late. If I were them, I would have jumped of the side of the ship immediately, so as to save myself from unfortunate pain and misery.
-
AND they did nothing about it. Pah! Typical titanic passengers.
-
Oh, poor people. What a silly captain!
-
Oh dear

An enquiry. How formal for a maritime diaster.
