The Titanic recieved multiple warnings of icebergs via wireless telegraghs. Through the day and as late as 11 pm, telegraphs were sent from the steamship The Californian.

The lookout Fredrick Fleet warns Captain Smith of hitting an iceberg. Captain Smith started to let out women and children on the lifeboats. At 2 : 22 a.m. the "unsinkable" Titanic disapeared beneath the waves taking down more than 1,500 souls.
