    Many know that when the Titanic was first built in 1909, three years prior to 1912, when she first set sail, the RMS Titanic was the biggest ship ever built at the time. Of course, nowadays, our ships are much, much larger than the Titanic.

It sunk after running into an iceberg, there was much controversy over who's fault the sinking was.

    On April 30th, 2012 Clive Palmer announced that he would be creating a replica of the RMS Titanic, calling it Titanic 2 and using it as an exclusive, historic cruise ship with 840 cabins, 2,435 passengers, and 900 crew members.

    Titanic 2 is expected to launch in the year of 2018 if construction goes as planned The new ship will be 833 feet long, just three inches longer than the original and 4.2m (13.9ft) wider in order to increase stability.
