    On the morning of December 7, 1941 the Japanese Navy attacked the US Navy port in Hawaii with planes. They bombed and crashed planes. They bombed us because we had an embargo on their supply of goods, so we retaliated with the bombing of Hiroshima and Kawasaki.

    The Battle of Stalingrad was the largest confrontation of WWII. In which Germany and its allies fought the Soviet Union for control of the city of Stalingrad in Southern Russia. The Soviet's Won the battle.

    The day that Britain, America, Canada and France attacked Normandy. They attacked with 150,000 troops. So it was an easy victory. This was a turning point for WWII.

    The war ended on May 8, 1945. The Germans surrendered about a week after Hitler committed suicide. Europe celebrates a victory.
