    Rosa Parks was a black American citizen who was told to give up her seat in the colored section of the bus for a white person. When she refused she was unjustly arrested.

    The United States was in fear of the Soviet Union firing their missiles on the United States from Cuba and starting a Nuclear war. In the end the war was adverted by negotiation, and a disaster was stopped.

    Nixon was accused of being part of scandal involving the bugging of the Watergate hotel. When the FBI found evidence that suggested Nixon might be involved they tried to get solid proof. Nixon denied being involved, and when congress choose to impeach him he resigned before they could do so.

    The internet was a collective invention made by multiple scientists, programmers, and engineers over a span of more than 20 years. It was a long time in the making, and it was not till 1983 before they created what we know as the internet today.

    As the cold war came to an end, east and west Germany finally made it so that people were allowed to travel freely between the east and west boarders. Soon after people came picked away at the Berlin wall will hammers and pickaxes, and east and west Germany became reunited.

    The attacks on September 11th were a series of terrorists attacks by a group of terrorists known as the Al-Qaeda. They hijacked four passenger planes and killed almost 3,000 people. They crashed the planes into the world trade center and the Pentagon.
