    The V-2 rocket was the sort of rocket that got Neil Armstrong and his team to the moon, and it wouldn't have been possible without world war 2. Wernher von Braun was the german rocket scientist who designed and created the V-2 rocket, he did so during the 2nd world war, intending for the invention to be used as a wepon however the V-2 rocket was too late and had no effect on the outcome of the war. After the war Wernher von Braun surrendered himself over to the US forces to help them.
