It is one of the largest companies in the world when it comes to their business. The ability that the CIW convinced a French corporation to sign the Fair Food Program gives a lot of self-esteem to farmworkers and students who protest against U.S. companies.

Trader Joe's is headquartered in Calif. It is a privately held chain of grocery stores. For every corporation, the CIW and allies organize and protest in the same manner to achieve the compliance of companies to sign the Fair Food Program.

Chipotle is the 11th corporation to commit to the Fair Food Program. The annoucement came a few days after CIW and allies picketed Chipotle's headquarters in Denver, Colo.

The CIW, students and allies are currently organizing and targeting Wendy's to join the corporations that have already signed to the Fair Food Program.

A victory had not been seen since 2012. Walmart, the largest retailing store signed the Fair Food Program to treat farmworkers fairly by giving them adequate wages and better working conditions. Walmart understands the power of the consumer which led them to sign the agreement.

A 10 day tour that allows farmworkers and allies to travel to Triangle Area, N.C., Charlotte & Aseville, N.C., Columbus, Ohio, Lousiville, Ky., Nashville, Tenn., Atlanta, Ga., Jacksonville and Lakeland Fla. The stops were strategically organized to target Publix Supermarket, Wendy's, and Kroger Supermarket.
