In 1914 connaught labs were established at the university of Toronto to produce diphtheria antitoxin the same lab that insulin was produced in as well as rabies and smallpox vaccines. -

They then invented what's known as the little Willie. -
In 1915 Paul Langévin invented a sonar type of device that could detect submarines during the first world war but his invention arrived too late to help out with the war, though it helped pave the way for future technology. -

Two events that demonstrate cause and consequence would be the establishment of connaught labs in 1914 and the discovery of insulin in 1921. The cause would be the establishment of connaught labs because it was created for essential biological public health products at the university of Toronto, they worked on rabies and smallpox vaccines as well as diphtheria antitoxin.
-
6 years after the establishment insulin was created in that lab in 1921 by Dr Frederick Banting, that was the consequence of the creation of connaught labs.

Two events that demonstrate continuity and change would be the snowmobile invented in 1922 and the snowblower invented in 1925. There is a continuity of winter weather inventions due to the northern location of Canada but there is a change between the two inventions because it shows how technology will change and evolve over time, the weather in canada will stay the same for the most part during winters but the technology will advance and there will be more inventions based off these two.
