    The first wheel was made out of concrete and was created in the Aceramic Neolithic Age between 9500-6500 BCE.

    The wooden wheel was created in 6500 and lasted until about 4500 BCE in the Ceramic Neolicthic age. They cut holes in the middle for the axles to spin on.

    The wheel with the spoke was invented in 2200 BC and was so that the wheels were lighter weight and could be easily changed.
  • The potters wheel

    The potters wheel was a wheel invented in 4500 BCE and was used by potters to create bowls and such. They spun a big wheel at the bottom of the macine which spins a plate on the top of the machine that clay sits on and spins and you form it with your hands.

    The tire was first mounted on the wooden wheel. This made for better traction and a better smoother ride. This also allowed for the driver to go faster. The first patent of this was in 1888.

    The never flat wheel came around in the 1980s. It was created to be a rubber, but solid rubber, not filled with air so it can never become flat when punctured
