    55 delegates met in Philadelphia to draft the Constitution.
  • US Constitution Submitted to States

    The Constitution was submitted to the states for ratification.
  • Bill of Rights

    The first ten amendments, known as the Bill of Rights, were submitted to the states for ratification.
