It protected the rights of people by not only letting White men with property but even those without property only allowing white Men who pay taxes.
  • Federalist and Antifederalist views on the ratification

    The Anti federalist Didn’t want the Constitution to be ratified Because they believed it would lead to tyranny. Federalist on the other hand wanted the ratification of the U.S. constitution. Some of the key figures from the federalist were James Madison, Edmund Randolph, and John Marshall who faced off against Anti federalist figures like Patrick Henry and George Mason in a Convention held in 1788
