    The first major battles in the seven years war. The soldiers focused on hurting each other more than trying to win. The valley is very useful to both sides because once they control it, they control the whole river. Also, once they control it they can build a lot of settlements and forts. The Ohio Company wanted to move all the people in virginia to Ohio. This really triggered the French settlers.

    The Acadians were forced to sign an oath of allegiance to the French people so if this things go bad between the French and British, the Acadians will fight for them. but the Acadians says no and the french ordered the Expulsion of the Acadians. They were sent to either back to Europe or to some distant colonies in North America. Nearly 1/3 of the people died before they even got to the destination; the french people burnt their homes and farms so thet they wont have a reason to come back.

    general Montcalm took a fort from the British. They captured and occupied fort Oswego the French took 1700 prisoners 121 cannons. the fort was very valuable to them because it was right next to lake Ontario and controlling this fort means that you controjled the lake.

    At the night Wolfe sent troops up the cliffs as a sneak attack on Quebec city. In the morning there are 4000 British on the plain Montcalm sent 5000 troops. The British had two rows instead of three so that it seemed like there are a lot of people. in the battle, both Wolfe and Montcalm were wounded badly, Wolfe died on the battlefield after seeing his victory and Montcalm died a day later
  • The Siege of Quebec

    The Siege of Quebec
     British had came with 9000 ground troops and 15000 sailors and attacked the fort of Quebec the battle lasted for about one hour. This battle was key to the British because the french couldn't recover from the loss quickly enough
  • Treaty of Paris

    Treaty of Paris
    The treaty of Paris in 1783, it ended the Seven Years War / French and Indian War along with their allies.
