    Hester see's her husband in the crowd whom she had commited adultery on. Hester chooses to keep her husbands identity a secret and he then adopts the name of Chillingworth.
  • Chillingworth vs. Dimmesdale

    Chillingworth vs. Dimmesdale
    Chillingworth chooses to become a doctor and take care of Dimmesdale the minister. The two become suspicious about each other and Chillingworth continues to question to Dimmesdale for seven years.

    Hester chooses to tell Dimmesdale of Chillingworth's true identity.The two agree that they must flee to Europe to start over.

    Hester and Dimmesdale board the ship in order to escape Europe. Chillingworth gets on the ship as a doctor and Dimmesdale soon reveals that he has a confession to be made.
  • The Aftermath

    Dimmesdale reveals that he to has a Scarlet Letter on his chest and reveals it to the boat. He goes and dies followed by Chillingworth a few years later. Hester soon follows and the two share a single tombstone with the letter A on it.
