The proclamtion act of 1763 restricted the freedom of the colonists to settle anywhere other than the land along the Atlantic coast -
Sugar act
The sugar act was for the british could earn back money so they can pay off the debt from the french indian war, so they taxed the colonists on the sugar or products they importated. -
Currency Act
The currency act elimated colonial currecies, it prohibbited issuance of colonial Bill of Credit -
The Stamp Act
The stamp act was a tax put up by the british government to tax stamps coming into america.

The Quartering Act of 1765
The British troops would stay in the colonists homes, against the colonists wills. WHEREAS ... [by the Mutiny Act of 1765] ... several regulations are made and enacted for the better government of the army, and their observing strict discipline, and for providing quarters for the army." -
Stamp Act Congress
representitives from 9 of the colonies besides New Hampshire, Virgina, North Carolina, and georgia agreed to souppurt the congress and on October 19, 1765 adopted the Declaration of rights and approved its use in petitions to the King and two letters to Parliament. -
Declaratory act
stated that Parliament could take "whatever action they thought fit for the good of the empire." -
Townshed Act
The townshed act had 3 things done to the colonies, tax on tea, glass, and paper. Crown officials were to be paid with these revenues (now independent from the reliability of the colonies to pay their salaries), and Writ of assistance- (general license to search anywhere) rather than a judge's warrant of a specific location
