    The British got solders to protect the colonial interest from french
    Native Americas. and the soldiers could live in any colonist homes

    Stamp Act
    The stamp act was to take a different approach on taxes. All paper products will be taxed
  • Townshend Act

    Townshend Act
    This told people what would be taxed such as glass, red lead, white lead, etc. were going to be taxed once it was imported
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    Tea taxes were high & people were smuggling it so you had to have a licence. This act was passed to help the East Indian Company not go bankrupt

    The colonist poured tea into the ocean because they couldn't load cargo anymore.They didn't want anyone to load cargo because they wanted to control
  • Justice Act

    Justice Act
    Colonists had to be loyal to Briten and couldn't commit any crime. This meant no more private meetings without the Governor knowing.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    The British took the land and taxes and extended their land.
