    Here Emperor Charles V tries Luther for heresy and blasphemy. The march to the Imperial Diet was intended to shame Luther and be insulting, but the towns welcomed him as he marched. It was almost as if Luther was marching to victory rather than the opposite.

    The Peasant's Revolt

    This revolt occurred because of rising prices in Germany. The peasants burned down 40 German monasteries and castles in total. This is why Luther opposed the Peasant's Revolt and the peasants rejected Lutheranism.
