  • Crown requires passports and legitimate business reasons for people to go abroad to Brazil, and bans Clercs and Friars to go to the New World

    Fearing massive gold rushes, the crown puts in a immigration law that required passports and business papers in order for citizens to go to Brazil, and banned Clercs and Friars to go to Brazil entirely.

  • Refused rights to create new mines at Itabaiana and Castelo due to thier location near the coast

    Fearing foriegn invasion, the Crown refuses to put mines near the coast, incuding Itabaiana in Serpie and Castelo in Espirito.

  • King reevaluates salaries of judicial officers in the mines

    Due to the problem of overpopulations and crime in the mines, the King re-evaluates the salaries of mine judicial officers and gives them a raise 50-300 percent more than coastal judicial officers.
