The Pickwick Papers

  • The Journey Begins, Chapter 1-2

    Mr. Pickwick, gereral chairman of the Pickwick Club, travels with his friends Mr. Tupman, Mr. Winkle, and Mr. Snodgrass,to go on a journey of enlightement. Along the road, they meet Mr. Jingle and they go to a ball.

  • Chapter 3-6

    The duel between Dr. Slammer and Mr. WInkle occurs. The travel and arrival at Dingley Dell. The Stroller's Tale, The Madman's Manuscript, and the Returned Convict are recited.
  • Chapter 7-12

    Mr. Winkle , instead of shooting and killing the pidgeons, accidentaly shot Mr. Tupman's arm. The arrival of Muggletown. Mr. PIckwick hires Mr. Weller to be his personal manservant. Mr. Tupman is very depressed. Rachel Wardle and Mr. Jingle escape from the Wardle household and run away, until Mr. Jingle cancels the marraige licence to his profit.
  • Chapter 13-15

    The Pickwickians arrive at Eatanswill, and partners with Mr. Pott and the Blues, against the Buffs. Mr. Pickwick greets the honorable Mr. Slumkey, leader of the Blues, and one of two candidates for the city election. The Slumkey party is victorious in the election. Mr. Pickwick and his friends meet Mrs. Leo Hunter, authoress of the Expiring Frog. Mr. Pickwick and his friends stay at the Peacock, and the Bagman's Tale is recited.
  • Chapter 16-20

    Meeting of the Mulberry Man and Job Trotter. Mr. Pickwick is ambushed and then released when proven not guilty as a robber. Mr. Jingle goes away with Job Trotter. Mr. Pickwick meets the opposing lawyers, Dodson and Fogg. Mr. Pott revieves an insult from a rival editor. A story of love is recited.
  • Chapter 21-27

    A ghost's statement, The Old Man's Tale About The Queer Client. The Pickwickians and their acquantances stay at the Magpie and Stump. Mr. PIckwick and Mr. Weller visit a hotel, where they are involved in a big misunderstanding. Mr. Weller meets his parents, and the case between MR. Pickwick and Mrs. Bardell progresses. They meet the Nupkins, Job Trotter, and Mr. Fitz-Marshall, who happens to be Mr. Jingle.
  • Chapter 28

    The Pickwickians arrive at the Wardle Establishment to attend to Isabella Wardle's wedding. She marries Mr. Trundle. A Christmas Carol is performed, a feast is served.Mr.Pickwick makes a speech, Sam talks to Joe, the fat boy.
  • Chapter 29-33

    Mr. PIckwick and Mrs. Bardell prepare for court. Mr. Pickwick meets his attorney, Mr. Searjeant Snubbin, and his assistant, Mr. Phunky. Mr. Weller sends a valentine to Mary. During Christmas, the Sexton story is told, and Mr. PIckwick is involved in a minor skating accident.
  • Chapter 34-39

    This Chpater is devoted to the meorable trial of Bardell Against Pickwick. In the end, Mrs. Bardell is victorious. Mr. Winkle, Mr. Weller, and Mr. Pickwick go to Arabella's house to interview her. Mr. Winkle cleary has a special fondness for Arabella. Mr. Pickwcik bathes for 2 months and listens to the legends of the Prince Blalud.
  • Chapter 40-46

    Regarding the duration in which both Sam Welller and Mr. Pickwick are imprisoned at the Debtor's prison.Sam Weller's mother dies, Mr. PIckwick and Mr. Weller listen to the cobbler's tale, Mrs. Bardell and her friends are arrested for cognovit charges, aand in the end, Mr. Pickwick and the characters afore said are released because Mr. PIckwick agrees to pay all of their fines,.
  • Chapter 47-57

    Regards the Bagman's tale, the wedding of Mr. Winkle and Arabella, Mr. Snodgrass and Emily Wardle, and Sam Weller and Mary. The PIckwick Club is dissolved and everybody has a hppy ending.
  • Summarizing

    The Pickwickians go on an adventure that will instill importance, learning, and enlightment. Along the road, the Pickwickians will listen to fascinating stories, meet different people, fall in love, learn new things about life, and face hardships and obstacles in order to complete their adventure.
