    Home Owners loan Corporation (HOLC)
    In 1933 this new deal was developed. The Act that developed this deal was the Homeowners Refinacing Act. The purpose was to refinace homes to prevent forclosure.

    This was created during the time when people did not have job. This would give people jobs until the economy recovered. It gave 3.5 million workers in constrsuction and other jobs.
  • Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA)

    This place made the Act "AAA" which would lower farmers production and would make prices go up. At this time there were alot of crops and prices would be very low. This made so farmers could get back what they put in.

    This provided federal loans for the installation of electrical distribution systems to serve isolated rural areas of the United States. The funding was channeled through cooperative electric power companies, most of which still exist today.

As we still use this today.

    This is a set of laws passed by Congress in 1938 giving authority to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to oversee the safety of food, drugs, and cosmetics! The introduction of this act was influenced by the death of more than 100 patients due to a sulfanilamide medication where diethylene glycol was used to dissolve the drug and make a liquid form
  • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

    Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
    It was created in 1938 to establish a minimum wage and a limit on the number of hours which may be worked in a standard workweek. It also provides standards for equal pay, overtime pay, record keeping, and child labor. This now keeps us able to work without going over a curtain amount of hours. .
