The Maze Runner
Thomas, the main character, finds himself in a new place called Glade, but dosent remember anything about his past. Everyone around him dosent like him and want nothing to do with him either. He soon figures out that this is no ordinary place, with people running the maze, and to people torturing other people. Once his other "friends" start to talk to him they explain as to why he is here and wish he never came into their lives. Thomas has many pranks he pulls because he is a jokster.

He figures out there is no way out of this deathtrap and work everyone to death before taking them to the graveyard. Thomas has visions about being here before, but dosent know how he would know.The talents he possess are that he figures out that he is a great maze runner and everyone says he is the best they've ever seen in their lives. Thomas got snarked by Alby and asks why he hates him so much. The next day, Newt wakes up Thomas for his new job working in the gardens and they talk about banishment. Thomas aks many questions about being a runner and what they need to do. The others convince him that is he becomes a runner, he will need to be an amazing candidate to run. They also tell him that the Keppers are the ones who have the final say.

Thomas starts to work with the keeper of the garden to learn as much he can about the maze. Minho and Alby went to the Maze for a sneek peek and find a girl hanging from the towering walls. Many of thed people who know hang out with those two realize that they should have been home by now. thomas goes out to find them and see's them in as much trouble hanging from the wall. Thomas rapples up the wall using ivy to reach Alby.

Thomas hopes to go unoticed or otherwise he could be sentenced to death. Suddenly he makes a false move and sends thousands of pounds of rock smashing into the ground. Grievers soon arrive and start climbing the wall after Thomas, but he leads them away from lby's limp body swinging like tarzan up the walls. He is forced to the bottom of the bottom of the maze and is confronted by a gang of Greievers. He uses a valuble tatic by fainting and then getting back up running from them.

Minho and Thomas start preppering to go back home, but notice Greivers walking around the area looking for them. They hear that Alby is still tied to the wall dangling like a flimzy doll. The Greivers get the Keepers to help in the search and they are suspicious that Thomas is the one who is causing all this havoc. It takes Newt (Keeper) awhile for him to bring things back into control. After Thomas and Minho make it back they are not hated, but loved.

Thomas will have one month training to become a runner. Then the Concil will have the say of whether he is ready enough to be the next runner even though he already knew he was. Thomas continues to see visions along with Newt and see that they need to save the leader of Glade before he tries to commit sucide. They talk about it over lunch and figure out their plan. He explains to Newt that he wants to do this by himself so none of them to get hurt and makes sure he stays with Alby.

He starts running through the maze again and realizes he needs to head back because he dosent want to get caught in the dark again. He arrives safely back at Glade. Minho comes the next day to give him the right items for the trip. He gets differnt weapons and maps to explore the maze each day to not get lost and to survive. They help him to remember to mark the palces he's been and where he needs to go in case of trouble. The maze has changed though with a gray sky.

The girl who was hanging from the stone is name is name is Teresa and Thomas dosent want to see her. She is also a maze runner and follows him passed the Glade. He gets her in trouble by doing a crime and she spends the night in the Slammer. Thomas is sort of thankful because now he can relax. Unfortunatly, bad news comes their way and hears that the Grievers are going to kill one person a night until everyone's dead. Thomas and Newt get into arguement they go their seperate ways.

The Glader is Chaos and tries to convince Alby to go after Minho.Thomas once again leaves in search of any maps that are still around the map. He runs into Minho, Alby, and Teresa and the four reterive the maps together. The maps have hidden words written in them, but no of them no what they mean or what they have to do with anything.

Thomas avoids the Gladers the next day and waits for the Greivers to take another victim. The Greivers have already taken one victim,but dont follow the rules and seek to find another person to kill. This is very bad news for Thomas because he thinks that they have already left. As the maze runners start to become more familiar with the map, Thomas is thinking about a suicidal will to sacrifice himself. This is due to the benefit of the team and help them all keep going.

They calm Thomas down into even thinking about that and share a final piece of meat together. After there meal they all set out to the cliff where the Griever Hole is located and where they need to unlock the door with the passwords. They Greviers are on the cliff side and there is no other way to get to the door. Alby walks into the section of Greivers and hopes to be the only death they need. They cut him into shreds,but it didnt even matter becuase they're coming after them too.

Minho and Newt lead an attack into the Greivers hoping to make a path for Teresa, Thomas, and Chuck. Over half of the Glades die in battle and the rest of them follow Thomas. They have made their epic journey here and win the game. Everyone reaches an old building with a old women with her son. Thomas has no clue as to what happened by losing his memory and asks a lady across from him,"What just happened?" The story ends and somehow get back to their region with no one now knowing
