    Sheer fabrics, fishnets, and lace were greatly present in the 70's as it is the punk rock decade. It expressed rebellion as the LBD was ripped, cut, and torn.

    Peplum was present. Shoulder pads and embellishments were also alluring in the 80's.

    Think spice girls and grunge and that described the 90's LBD. Simple, tight, and short.
